My name is Daisy Wilkinson. I am a 16 year old Cross Country Mountain Bike racer from Scotland.

Over the last two seasons I have been unbeaten in Scottish MTB XC racing in the Juvenile and Youth categories. Racing as a first year U16/Youth last year I won the Scottish Championships and claimed the overall series. In the British MTB XC series I claimed 2nd in the last round. I also came 2nd and 1st in the British MTB short track rounds. Last June I travelled out to Belgium to compete in a 3 Nations Cup round and finished 7th. 

In the 2022 season, I was on the podium at every British MTB XC round apart from one and I finished 3rd overall in the series. I also raced in the Youth European Cross Country Mountain Bike Championships in Switzerland. 

In March I did a ride to raise money for a charity called Tiny Changes. This was to raise money in memory of Rab Wardell who was mentoring me and my race team. I set myself the challenge to ride the Capital trail in the Scottish borders which is a 220km route with 6000m of climbing, raising a total of £1550.
