I’m Libbie Joyce and I am 16 years old! I have been competing in Obstacle Course Racing since I was 8 years old. I love OCR so much because it’s so fun and you get to learn so much. I did a charity race in memory for my friend Violet and it’s why I have a V on my race vest, if it wasn’t for her, I might not have found OCR.

I became a bronze OCR Junior European Champion in Poland in 2019 and have competed in 2 Spartan Kids world Championships.  In December 2021 I raced my first Spartan adult World championships in Abu Dhabi, in the Liawa Desert, bringing home a Silver Medal for the UK in age category 14 to 17. My dream and goal for OCR is to be the best in the world when I’m older. In 2023, I stepped up into adult elite races and have enjoyed working my way up the rankings. In October 2023 I went out to OCRWC in America and came home with a Sliver in the 3k 14 to 19 and won a Gold Medal in the elite women's pro team!

My love and passion for OCR is to inspire and help other kids try it, get kids wanting to be outdoors and just get active and keep fit. If I am not racing you will find me training, doing my local park run or finding new places to run and things I can use as obstacles!
