I’m Katie, I started TRAILDOG Events in 2019; offering canicross (running with dogs) events in beautiful locations around the North East. It was born from a love of trail running with my first dog, Jasper. Our events are about enjoying the journey with your best friend and are inclusive of all abilities; from those wanting to walk the course to those pushing for a podium place. All finishers receive a hand painted wooden medal and a goodie bag for both them and their dog!

We now organise 5 canicross events across the season of various distances from 1 mile family runs to half marathons, an UltiMutt obstacle course and run ‘SUP With Your Pup’ sessions in the summer. We also have some very exciting new events on the way (with maybe a journey into the south too)! 

I personally have 4 dogs; a labrador x vizsla (Darcy), a pointer (Timmy), a dalmatian (Fraser) and a border collie (Pippa). We do a lot of hiking and also participate in trail running, canicross and biking together.
